Beastie Boys cancel tour due to cancerous MCA
by EJah on Jul.20, 2009, under Artists, News
Bad news for the Beastie Boys this summer. Their upcoming tour for the album “Hot Sauce Committee Part I” has been
canceled indefinetly due to cancerous tumor found in MCA’s salavary gland. Luckily it has been caught early and only in one location so it is treatable and likely to survive. It will require surgery and treatment but he should be OK. The title track “Too Many Rappers” featuring Nas was one of the songs from the album that was coming out. Now the album may not come out at all, but we’ll see what happens after a recovery from MCA. The rest of the band members sent love, prayers and condolences to his family. The HipHope.com family sends love too his family also.
