Lil Wayne launches website from jail

weezythanksyou.comLil Wayne launched a website from jail called,  Weezy Thanx You, a site to let his fans know how things are going for him and to acknowledge his fans through the site for all the letters he’s been getting.  The page launched on April 2nd, 2010.  His first post entitled, “Gone Till November,” he’s thanking his fans and letting them know he appreciates the support he’s been getting.  Check out the first entry in his new page….

“During my prison stint, I want my fans to know I love you. I want all of you to know that I appreciate all the mail I get, and this is my way of saying thank you. The F is for Family, Friends, and Fans.  Love. Live. Life. Proceed. Progress. That’s who I am and who I’ll always be. You see, we’re all living on borrowed time, so I’m not worried about this situation. Life happens quick. The more time you spend contemplating what you should have done…you lose valuable time planning what you can and will do. Trying to tear down the past prohibits you from building up your future. So for my time here, my physical will be confined to the yard. My love and my spirit, however, know no boundaries.”

    hi weezy , i just wanted to write you and let cha know that ur music is the real deal. Anyone who listens to your music and i mean truly listens to the words and meaning of some of the shit you spit would agree. Your music is fresh as hell but at the same time it means summthin and dats something most of the fakes out there cant seem to grasp now a days. Well good luck to you and yours and keep doin what your doing cause you are keeping rap alive and real.
