We’ve talked about Luda’s upcoming album Battle of the Sexes before.  As the album comes along he’s trying to recruit some other artists for his upcoming project.  So far sounds like it’s going to bang.  So far he has Nicki Manaj, Lil Kim, Eve and Trina.  But as he tried to enlist Lauryn Hill to make an appearance, she said no.  Luda sounds disappointed as he tells the associated press, “I think Lauryn Hill is like extremely talented and I can say I did try to do that , it just didn’t work itself out.”  Lauryn Hill hasn’t recorded since the 1998 Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.  Oh well I guess she’s just too busy doing other things.

The shortage of women in Hip Hop has been terrible.  There has been a lack of women even wanting to rap, and when you find them, they’re not that good.  Back in Hip Hop’s hey day there female rappers weren’t as prevalent as males, but there seemed to be plenty.  Sha Rock, Pebbley Poo, Lisa Lee, Sequence, MC Lyte, Salt and Peppa, Hurricane G, Roxxane Shante and so on.  Now it seems like there are so few, Nicky Minaj, Lil Kim (who fell off so bad), Trina, Foxy Brown (also fell off), Remy Ma after that, who?  Well this shortage of female rappers has me combing Myspace Music and other sites for some lyrical Queens.  Here I found one that like, Tina, straight from Chicago.  Chicago know for it’s own Hip Hop history so you would imagine some good product comes from there.  Check her Myspace page, listen to her music and read her bio below and let me know what you think.  I think I’ve told you before, I think Chicago women are hot!  I’ve checked out her songs and they sound nice, check for yourself.

Puffy teams up with Trina and adds her to his Ciroc Vodka campaign.  He recruits her after chillin’ in Miami for the Super Bowl.  Diddy says, “She’s an official Ciroc girl.”  Not know what her official duties are going to be but Diddy explains, “She’s gonna be helping us, we gonna be doing it together. We got a new partnership that we rocking with but most importantly, the record and a video is off the chain.  You gonna see us performing the joint live, too. She’s gonna have the full-length chinchilla and just be buckey-naked with some stickies on. You know what I’m saying, because the body is thorough. Believe that, she’s in the gym!” talking about her new single, Million Dollar Girl.  Trina has a new album coming out May 4th entitled, Amazin.  With her work coming up with Luda, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga, she’s going to be a very busy woman.

Don’t men all love a good cat fight between two women, especially two fine-ass women?  Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s wife called Trina a no talent dwarf for stating in her 2008 song,  “Heated” that she slept with Kobe.  To be exact this is the verse from the song.

“This n*gga thinkin’ I’m sweatin’ his Rolex watch
You need more than that, to get in my thighs
A car that’s fly, maybe a house in the sky

I know you wanna beat it up right quick
And I was the first b*tch Kobe cheated on his wife with…”

Well let’s see, those are some pretty straight up lyrics, but how serious should Vanessa have taken them.  So far Trina didn’t come back with anything, she probably isn’t worried to much since she’s just a ball players wife and not a rapper, but I would love to hear what she has to say.  Yes we getting a bit National Enquirer with this story, but how can we resist.  But here’s another thing, you just now heard that damn song, I bought that album like almost two years ago, what’s up with Vanessa being all late?  But any way if there was a fight between them two, I think Trina would win.  Remember Kim may be the Queen Bitch, Remy is Shesus Christ but Trina is the baddest bitch!  Hey who’s finer by the way?  Not that that’s important, just curious.
